Last Day in Munich

Since we didn't have any tours planned for today, we slept in and took our time packing and getting ready to go. We first went to The Body Shop so Natalie could get protein powder because she claims she needs to go on a diet to fit in her bunad. Afterward we took the metro to Marienplatz and started our day of shopping. The first store we went into there were some Norwegians in there and Natalie said the one guy was actually famous in Norway. The one guy said in Norwegian that he liked Natalie's shoes and she replied in Norwegian and he stood there stunned for a little bit before replying and he said something like wow what a small world. We moved on to the next store and I bought my two souvenirs (a weather house and clock made out of Black Forest wood). Then we walked around a bit and ran into the Norwegians again and said hi again. We walked around some more and bought some sandwiches for lunch before shopping some more. We actually both bought clothes at one store (I bought 3 pieces and Natalie bought 9). After that store we decided that was enough buying and we slowly worked our way toward the central train station. We took the train to the airport and arrived about 4 hours before our flight. So we just sat around the airport the entire time (this is also where I got my last German schnitzel); I'm actually still at the airport. Our flight lands at midnight in Oslo and then we have to wait 40 minutes for our bus to Moss, which means we will not be back to the apartment until 2. Tomorrow will be brutal because we also have class at 9 and we both don't get done until 5:30. Also, just a side note, after being in Germany I can definitely see that Norwegian came from the Germanic language. There are many words in German that look almost the same as Norwegian words. Also, I don't know why but I was expecting Germans to be somewhat bad at English, but everyone was really good and very fluent in English. Compared to France and Italy, Germans were 10 times better at English than either of the other two.
Update: we are currently sleeping at the Oslo airport because there were thunderstorms in Munich. They delayed our flight 2 hours so we missed the last bus for the night.
