Milan, Italy

Well today was the day! However, it didn't start out so fun. First we had to go and watch a video for one of our classes and fill out a worksheet. Then we had to go back to the apartment and pack and get everything ready to go. Lita picked us up around 3:45 and brought us to the airport and she said she would pick us up when we get home Monday. We actually didn't have a whole lot of waiting time at the airport before we started to board our flight. I'm actually surprised because Natalie was able to smuggle her banana bread through security, I even took a picture of her with it to prove it. The flight only took two hours and 15 minutes, so it wasn't bad at all. When we landed it was starting to get dark so we were hoping it wouldn't be too cold yet and when we got off the plane it was actually warm! Right now at 10:45 at night it's 63 degrees out, so I'm looking forward to this weather. We had to take a bus to Milan central station and we attempted to find our hostel, but we're pretty unsuccessful. We had to take a taxi there, but it was fine with me because I would rather not be wandering around at night. Tomorrow we have to get up pretty early so we can go and buy some food and walk to the train station. Now that we have wifi we were able to google the exact directions to the train station from our hostel. I'm excited for tomorrow though; spending my birthday in Venice!
